1:40 to 3:00_ Whole studio reviews proposal as stands (from g-drive, and talk with peers). Discuss patterns observed in the proposal, as a group, with professors

3:00 to 3:30 (includes break). Make any quick revisions to  your two design problems and / or opportunities – responding to the suggestions provided, as necessary. Your proposal should be organized by, for example:

EVENTS, BUSINESS, and ORGANIZATIONS, PROGRAM / EVENT…and be ‘big enough’ to satisfy for B/I/Sd goals.

3:45_“speed-date-ideate with peers session begins”

Spend short periods of time in multiple small groups (3 to 5) – exploring the ideas of others as well as “selling” your ideas, eventually leading to a determined team of 3 to go forward. We will structure the dating activity, so that you can compare multiple design concepts in quick succession. For example, every five minutes, rotations. * Each date is one on one OR small groups of no more than three. Repeat. These ‘dates’  (as idea ‘flirts’) should serve to solicit interests from other potential collaborators in YOUR ideas.

4:45 goal:

Pick and or be picked / asked. All projects are collaborative. Minimum group of 3, with permission – possibly group of 4.

Your instructors /TA await you for 15-minute consultation settings at the time of your choosing. We will have sign-up slots to ensure that each team meets with at least one instructor between 5:00 and 5:45. These are “short” meetings, providing further guidance for next meet deliverables (below).

Homework, for next meet (9/21):  Begin work deliverables.

Deliverables are listed on the Framework page. It is up to you / the group what you prioritize to work on in class. It is likely a good idea to go with (1) vision, (2) mission, and (3) diagramming as your first steps. But it is up to you and how things unfold in your discussion! However, immediately determining who amongst you is more Bd, Id, and Sd is possibly premature before you have a real handle on your goals.

9/26

Over the weekend (homework): Future scenario for final team of 3 decided: idea proposed (details to come) > an individual agrees to take on branding, an individual for interaction, an individual for service design, etc. for that group. See Framework page for listing of Tuesday deliverables.
