Workflow (before presentation):
YOU MUST COORDINATE TOGETHER, AND DO YOUR PART AS AGREED. REFINE THE PRESENTATION AS A GROUP.
As first steps, in your group workflow, please observe three MUST-DOs:
- Choose a moderator (1) — keep the discussion (of what, how, moving).
- Second, (2) choose a scribe — write everything down (to be quickly typed and shared with the group – as action plan); report out at end of every meeting / small group crit on 9/22. (Debrief, recap, and determine next steps).
- Finally, (3) choose a pilot— at first, roughly design your shared presentation, with all basic screens, shared/generalized tone, and layout. Then share that master file for post-production, heading into final deadline. Finalize the presentation (reviewing formatting, legibility for presentation, etc.). REHEARSE, OUTSIDE OF CLASS TIME AS NEEDED.
Workflow (after presentation):
….Re-convene in class, EACH GROUP BUILDS A BIGGER CONCEPT MAP composed from the content from at least 3 to 4 chapters – connecting issues. Your topic as central, but now work with other groups to develop the content for your group’s concept map story. You might need to whiteboard (sticky notes, etc.) this out first. Follow guidelines from the project brief. Display size.
